Maybelline Vivids

Another fabulous Maybelline creation, I had to restrain myself from buying all 10 colors. These are absolutely phenomenal. I have Vivid Rose and Vibrant Mandarin. Both colors unique to its name.

Vivid Rose - A bright and bold rose red-pink color
Vibrant Mandarin - A true orange

Both colors are vibrant and scream color boldness. Vibrant Mandarin is more glossy than Vivid Rose, Vivid Rose is like a semi-gloss, almost semi-matte in texture and super color saturated. I noticed the difference when swatching the colors on my lips. I am a fan of the regular Color Sensational lipcolors so I knew that these would be no exception. These come in 10 fabulous shades, I've seen all 10 shades in person and became an instant fan :) What I like about them is that they deliver saturated color at a perfect price.

Maybelline by Color Sensational Color Whispers

In 3 words; Cute, shiny and moisturizing! I selected the shades that I got very carefully because I wanted to see true colors, so getting a nude or 'barely there' shade wouldn't have done any justice. I have seen the entire collection, very pretty colors to choose from. If you are a bare glossy lips gal these just might work for ya! They offer lipshine (not so much a gloss) with a dab of color. The color is prominent, it isn't faint but you can tell its there. I have #50 Cherry on top and #95 Mad for magenta. These have light to no scent at all, it's a faint sugary cotton candy scent, and the packaging is pretty! Lasting quality is good, not excellent but it's acceptable. As with some tinted semi-glosses, re-application is almost hard not to do. Wearing off not so much but instead drinking or eating diminishes the fresh application.

Packaging is reminiscent of their regular Color Sensational lipsticks but instead its a slimmer version with the words 'Whisper' on 2 sides in gold print. The color name and number is found on a silver sticker.

Cherry on top- a pretty light raspberry color

Mad for magenta - a sheer but bold pink violet color with tiny sparkles

Both are almost identical except Mad for Magenta is more prominent as a violet shade. Sparkles are not super obvious on the lips.

Loreal Caresse Lip Stain Gloss

Decided to gather a few and I'm glad I did because I really like them! Not much of a fan of stains or glossy stains per se but I enjoy these. My first purchase was the Infinite Fuchsia (far left in pic) - A darkened raspberry color and my 2nd purchases were Coral Tattoo and Pink Resistance.

Not a fan of the Pink Resistance. First of all, it looks opaque in the tube but goes on like a bare gloss, yuck. The Infinite Fuchsia upon first applying is a nice raspberry color and after a few seconds gets a tad darker. I found this to be the same for Coral Tattoo. Coral Tattoo in the tube is a bright but subdued coral orange, but more on the orange side. After wearing for 10 minutes noticed that it got darker, which is fine with me since the color transforms into something gorgeous.

These apply smoothly and seem to get more opaque as you apply. They stay on extremely well and stay glossy. They are not sticky nor heavy, instead lightweight and have a smooth feel, almost like satin. They all have a pleasant floral scent, at first it could be intimidating but the scent isn't obvious while wearing.

Removing the lip color is easy but when I removed Infinite Fuchsia and Coral Tattoo I saw a bit of staining of my lips, which is fine.

You can find these at participating drugstores. I found mine in Walgreens and paid 9.99 for each.
