Guess what?! I'm having a baby!

OMGosh! Children are gifts from God: We are expecting a baby and couldn't be happier!

Ok, I found out by home test last Friday but didn't say anything until I knew for sure. So this past Wednesday I went to the doctor and she confirmed....

Yay!

Me and my hubby feel blessed and we are excited about the baby, Yes I've been feeling a bit sick and I'm been craving certain food already :) I'm just really grateful because baby is truly a blessing....

So since I've been so excited about baby coming, I've done a little window shopping on the internet, heehee....

Cute stroller and car seat, yellow and black and gray circle designs from Babys R Us....
Baby onesies from store.rock.com, I love this one!
If it's a girl? I like lilac or purple tones but I may change it later :)

Another cute one :)

Everyone have a great weekend!

My thoughts: ELF Eye-Transformer Review

..::EDITED::..
Small ELF haulAfter seeing a wonderful review of the ELF eye Transformer on Janice's blog (Seek for Beauty) I decided to buy it just to see it for myself. See her review here if you'd like.

I also bought a concealer brush because I had been wanting a sturdy brush that I could use for my paintpots and or applying pigments alone or foiled. Let's start with the brush...

I must say it is a very soft, sturdy brush....perfect for applying paintpots, foiled pigment or emollient based makeup. Personally, I prefer to apply concealer with my ring finger, so I probably wont be using as a concealer brush very often. This one is great and was only $3.

The ELF eye Transformer
This is just going to be a very brief review...
Comes with a tiny little shader brush...

Obviously it has 4 main colors, all look a bit irridescent, frosty: Greenish, bronzy-peach, Pink, and a blue-purple. The palette is called Pastel Illusions.

ELF says you can use this on top of or in combination with any of your eyeshadows to create a different color...or you can mix and match or wear these alone on the lids....

I did swatches on my arm, by themselves...

and then swatches of my MAC paintpot Blackground as a base to see the transformation...

Here are the results....Sorry if the pic looks washed out. The outcome was bright but not too vibrant.

I tried out other colors as a base (or under color) to see results using the eye transformer, here are my findings:
When used with......
Matte dark brown....Slight change almost none at all, and that's after I packed it on.

Dark Pink....Slight change.

Light Pink....almost no change.

Green....medium change, I used with a stop light green shade.

Blue....no change, blue still looked the same.

Gray....medium change, I used MAC e/s Print.

Taupe....Slight change.

Works best with these eyeshadow finishes:
Pearl
Frost
Satin w/minimal shimmers

Worked horribly on:
Matte

I paid $3 for the eye transfomer at eyeslipsface.com

That's it, talk to you all later!

My Review of Eyebrow Lifter & Filler

EyesLipsFace.com

Create polished and defined brows for a flawless fuller look! The “lift” pencil’s sheer light-reflecting pigments act as an arch support under the brows to enhance and outline the shape for a more youthful and awakened look. While the “fill” pencil shades in the eyebrow to blend in the natural sh...

Pros: Lightweight, Smooth, Good Pigmentation, Easy To Take-off

Cons: Too Soft, Heavy

Best Uses: Everyday, Travel

Describe Yourself: Classic Style

Skin Tone: Medium

I bought the ivory/dark pencil. Pigmentation (on both sides) is very good, something that I wouldn't exactly expect from ELF. The pencil itself is big, amount is good enough to last you a while since you need very little of it. Here is where the important part comes in: Applying it can be tricky! In my opinion, you can't apply it directly to your brows, I suggest using a brush for that natural look. The first time I applied it I felt like I was applying an emollient lipstick to my brows...So it is thick/heavy but what I like is that I can smooth out the thickness with a great eyebrow brush much like my MAC brush #263. This is what I like about it, the fact that I can smooth on a little bit and I can blend it with whatever brush I wish and it looks nice and natural. The 'lifter' color is very nice. That too is a little thick but nothing I can't fix with my trusty highlighting makeup brush. I like to smooth it on and blend it smoothly with my brush. I wanted to make note that this specific lifter color is very pretty, very pigmented and matte. The best part is that both colors are matte, there is no shimmer or frost. It's so sad that this pencil had to be too soft because I'm wondering what kind of mess it will make when it comes time to sharpen it, lol.
Would I recommend it? probably so. Would I buy again? Yes.
