Mother's Day FOTD and Giveaway

I hope everyones Mother's Day was super! Because I am so late with this post I am going to include a small giveaway, so for everyone interested please read on for details!

Just wanted to show you all a very simple and natural FOTD that I wore for Mother's Day. My mother's day was very nice. I had some cute cards waiting for me when I got home made by my boys and my baby daughter. I watched all my favorite DVD's for the rest of the day and took a nap...How was your Mother's Day? Small giveaway it is! Write a small comment in this post about your most favorite memory of your mom. Winner will receive 1 goodies bag with makeup and other beauty items personally chosen by me!

Since I did not grow up to know my 'real' mom I thought I'd share a nice memory of my 'true' mother which is my paternal grandmother. She raised me and has been there for me all along. My grandma, or 'mom' as I used to call her is simply one that is old-fashioned (but in a good way), comforting, classy, and down-to-earth. She loved to make me dresses. She would sew me a dress for special occasions and of course I would pick out the pattern and material. She is great thus why I have so many more memories of her!

  1. awwww what a nice giveaway question :)

My most favorite memory with my mom was when i was younger. every year, on my birthday, she would think of different ways for me to celebrate it. there would be a party every year, all planned by her. I had the most fun everytime! When i was in 6th grade, i got chicken pox on my birthday. I was ready to get super depressed, but my mom baked me chocolat cake. i had to eat the whole of it, but i was super touched! :)

  2. My mom trusts me in every decision I make, even after some bad ones I did in the past. Such great patience, I can always come to her for comfort, cause she'll always be there for me

  3. My favorite memory of my mom is a collection of memories, actually. Whenever I was sick when I was little, no matter throwing up/what-have-you, she would always be there with toast and my favorite 'sick' stuffed animal, Magic. It was something small but it really stuck with me and when I'm sick now I think of her and Magic :)

  4. My favorite memory with my mom (she's still with me so typing of my mom feels sort of weird) is when I see her taking good care of my dad until his death last May 2010. My dad suffered from stroke and she was always ready to serve him, feed him, and bathe him. Those past six years was hard for us with occasional trips to the hospital, but through it all my mom remained strong. She broke down at my father's death and it was a very heartbreaking experience for us. I love my parents so much, though I may not show it enough. :'(

Thanks for the opportunity! I'd like to share the prize with my mom 'cause she likes makeup too. :D
